All persons planning to attend the Congress must complete the Registration Form. If you are planning to present a communication please, read carefully all the information in the “ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION” section before completing the online Registration Form. A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognized educational institution or a holder of an international student card.  Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate.

A copy of your student identification card must be sent to the Congress Managers attached through the Registration Form above.  Please note that without this copy, the registration will not be processed.

The registration fee for all registration types entitles delegates to the following:

  • Welcome pack
  • All sessions access
  • Daily coffee break
  • Daily lunch
  • Trip to a bird migration watchsite
  • Transport between Algeciras, Tarifa and the Bird Migration International Center (one way go and one way back per day)
  • Special prices in the hotels and hostels offered on the congress website
  • 30% discount in the main local whale watching business
  • Certificate of Attendance

* The Certificate of Attendance will be issued to all attendees via email after the completion of the Congress.

The registration fee for all registration types does not entitles delegates to attend the closing dinner. In case you change your mind after getting registered and want to add or quit the closing dinner, please, write to congress@fundacionmigres.org. This change will be able to be done before 15th June 2018.

Registration confirmation

Your completed registration and successful payment will be automatically acknowledged via email with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. Your registration will only be confirmed on full payment of fees due.

Payment by electronic transfer

  • All registrations require payment by Electronic Transfer.
  • Payment must be completed for registration to be processed.
  • An invoice will be issued on demand (see Registration form).

Cancellation and refund

  • Cancellations must be notified to the Congress Managers by email congress@fundacionmigres.org
  • Cancellations received before 15th May will receive a 50% refund of registration fees paid.
  • Cancellations after 15th May will not be refunded.

Recordings / Copyright

The Congress Managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Congress for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Congress and/or its content at their sole discretion.
